Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former official of the government who was Spokesperson for the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration from 2017 until the year 2019. She was a senior associate at the Hudson Institute. It is a think tank that is conservative.



 



 Before her position at the Department of State she was an Fox News correspondent and news presenter. From March 2018 until October 2018, Nauert worked as acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy as well as Public Affairs and Diplomacy in the Trump administration. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and to the White House Commission on White House Fellowships.
